Salarium is an Icelandic payroll system designed for small and medium-sized businesses. The goal is simple: filings to the tax authority and pension funds should no longer be a headache every month-end.

Who is behind Salarium

Built by people who know small-business accounting

Salarium is developed by MMV ehf. We have long worked with small and medium-sized businesses on accounting and operations, and we saw that payroll is often more complicated and expensive than it needs to be.

Many payroll systems are built for large companies with a whole payroll department behind them. Small businesses need a system that is clear, fast and gets things right the first time.

Besides Salarium, MMV provides accounting services, builds custom software and is a reseller of Uniconta in Iceland.

Security and privacy

MMV ehf. processes personal data in accordance with Icelandic Act No. 90/2018 and the GDPR. When a company uses Salarium, MMV acts as a data processor and the processing is governed by a data processing agreement (in Icelandic).

Our legal documents are published in Icelandic. The Icelandic versions are the binding versions.
